Georg Kayser Studio was approached by ORASCOM Development to create the concept design for various public areas of their latest 5* Beach Resort. Our design was inspired by the glowing morning light, the coral blue sea, the shadows and light tones of the sand, and the lush colours that one can find inside the traditional oasis. Given its capacity —400keys— all spaces must manage high customer traffic, and furniture has been selected to respond to the wear and tear caused by the customers.

Inside the Salalah Resort, we designed a series of connected restaurants. Although sharing a common ground, each restaurant has its own colour scheme and general mood, in line with the type of cuisine offering.

For the three course restaurant we chose beiges, light browns, and green tones to convey a fresh look.
